Chris is an Audit Partner at MOORE Malta with a focus on overseeing the delivery of audit and other assurance services for a portfolio of national and transnational engagements, spanning across different sectors. Specialised in International Financial Reporting Standards and GAPSME Financial Reporting Framework, Chris leads and coordinates client-based projects which deliver bespoke accounting and financial reporting advisory services.

Prior to joining MOORE Malta, Chris held an audit managerial role with a Big Four Firm based in Luxembourg, and was responsible for a wide portfolio of audit clients, principally specialising in the audits of Real Estate, Private Equity and Securitisation prepared in accordance with IFRS, Lux GAAP and US GAAP accounting standards. Prior to joining MOORE Malta, Chris took a prominent position within the Finance Department of a multinational group based in Europe and was responsible, among other things, for overseeing the group budgeting function, planning and forecasting financial resources, the preparation of IFRS-compliant financial statements and tax compliance (indirect tax).

Besides his role as Audit Partner, Chris has over the years developed a focus on indirect taxation, and leads the firm’s Indirect Tax Service Line within the MOORE Malta Outsourcing Practice Group.

Chris also oversees the Human Resources Function at MOORE Malta, and is overall responsible for the firm’s Learning and Development Programme. As part of his responsibilities, Chris guides strategic human resource planning and execution, and oversees recruitment, talent acquisition, performance management and training and development needs. Chris collaborates to cultivate a positive, inclusive work environment and drive firm success through a skilled and engaged workforce.
